This solution enables remote control of power station keys. After evaluating various data transmission technologies for their SCADA telemetry network, the customer chose 4G Industrial Cellular Routers as the most cost-effective and capable option.

The customer requires an affordable 3G/4G cellular solution with one Ethernet port, port mapping, and support for VPN technologies like IPSEC and OpenVPN.

The 4G modems are used in the electricity distribution network to connect dispatch centers with the control panels of sectionalizer keys in electrical substations. Communication is secured through private APN services and VPN encryption, allowing remote management of these keys.
