A meteorological observation controller typically includes a Power Supply Unit (PSU), a solar battery system for remote areas, various sensors, controllers, and other meteorological equipment. The next challenge is connecting all these components and collecting data from remote areas to the monitoring center.

The customer requires an intelligent Station Monitoring Solution to address the daily challenges of monitoring and identifying weather patterns at remote weather stations. The system must be reliable and capable of operating in harsh environments, such as extreme temperatures, fog, and high humidity, while connecting various equipment like controllers and sensors.

Winsonic NE2201-140 with Wi-Fi was chosen for this project due to its excellent performance in harsh environments, which has satisfied the system integrator. Its numerous interfaces, including 1 RS232, 1 RS485, 2 DI, 2 DO, and Wi-Fi, allow for various connections to all system equipment, such as controllers, sensors, and IP cameras. The sensors monitor and report all necessary information in real-time, enabling engineers to identify early weather-related warnings. The wireless link provides maintenance-free and reliable connectivity, ensuring that data on wind detection, ambient temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, and rainfall is transmitted and detected at the control center.
